Hey Everyone,

I'm new to hosting on a VPS, so this is where it gets hard. Is there a proper tutorial on how to set up a website/+Forums on an OVH VPS?

Been searching for quite some time with no luck. Thanks.

You can try installing LAMP on your vps:
https://www.digitalocean.com/communi...n-ubuntu-16-04

Then use WinSCP to upload your forum/website files on the www directory

I was told Filezilla could work in my favor and it will be the easiest way. any clue?

setting up apache, php and mysql is the easy part. For me the hard part was setting up the mail server and getting it to work

I used to use VestaCP. If you're hosting one website that's fairly small (IE samp) your best bet is to just get a webhost. It's a lot less screwing around and cheaper generally.
