Hi everyone,
I'm using MapAndreas for finding Z cord. But when i try to setup my server to my host, MapAndreas couldn't load. In console it says;
MapAndreas: plugin could not init!
MapAndreas: check files and make sure you have enough memory!
1-) So i thought about ColAndreas. Which one is better in terms of ram usage?
2-) How can i setup ColAndreas to my host?
3-) How can i solve MapAndreas problem?

MapAndreas -> Pretty low ram usage, and precision could be sacrificed to lower ram usage even more.
ColAndreas -> Memory hog, and CPU eater if not used with caution.
Map Andreas ram usage is about 30-60mb, has function to manually modify Z height in database for given X,Y coords (support for custom map's)
Col Andreas ram usage is about 400mb when started, and will slightly increase when you create objects (but that's almost equal to 0). It will support your custom maps out of the box (unless you dont want it to, then you just unhook CreateObject/CreateDynamicObject functions). Also very precise in contrast to Map Andreas. And can do much more then just to find Z.
Also Map Andreas has only one layer. It cannot detect positions under bridge, inside tunnels and parkings, etc...
Col Andreas on other hand can detect all that, return modelid, position where your ray collided and basically is way better then Map Andreas.
If you dont have enough memory for Map Andreas, you wont have memory for Col Andreas that's for sure.
Everything else is just question "What do you need it to do?". Your answer is in features and functions of both, and what you can use on host...

Missing database file (Height map in script files)
Ram memory limit for your server process. (Most likely - you can not do anything about it, maybe ask them to increase it but since its free hosting i dont think they will allow it)
