Black screen after closing SA:MP
#1

Hello,

I'm getting a black screen when I'm closing my game. When I get one, I restart my graphics driver (Win+Ctrl+Shift+B) and everything is fine.

Before you ask: yes, my graphics driver is up to date. I also noticed that this only happens when I have turned on my second monitor. When I have only one monitor turned on, this does not happen.

I'm running both the game and the client in no compatibility mode. Running either one of them in Win98/Me Mode fixes this issue, but makes my game lag extremely.

Any solutions?

Make sure your game resolution matches your screen's
btw, nice tip (Win+Ctrl+Shift+B) didn't know about it

Whenever I start the game, I'm being asked on which monitor and what resolution I want to display the game in. I always pick 1920 x 1080 x 32 (WIDESCREEN) which is also my ingame resolution. When I leave it that way and exit the game, I get a black screen. When I lower my resolution ingame and change it back to 1920 x 1080 x 32 and THEN closing the game, I get no black screen. This is really weird but it really seems to be a resolution issue.

I'm so using this shortcut... Running WarThunder before running ARK results in me having 3 FPS in ARK. Have to restart my PC to fix it, so hopefully now I won't need to restart.

What mods do you have installed? If you don't have any mods, make sure there isn't a d3d9.dll in your SA-MP folder. Also go to your documents and then GTA San Andreas User Files then delete gta_sa.set . Once you do all that, restart your game and set your max resolution to match your monitor and tell me how it goes.
