OK. So I got some advice to upgrade to XP. I bought the freaking expensive disc, put it in, chose the new installation setting and the files copied, but when I try to run the stupid freaking setup, it fails. there's no error message or anything, but it just stays at the screen trying to boot (just with the stupid underscore blinking), any idea what went wrong, cuz im fed up with this...
