Hey there,

Our community name is Dreamy Gaming and our server is being consistently attacked by the kids from mw3-samp.com

I've tried to ban the possible CIDR ranges and have also range banned them several times but not only can they unban their range but also make themselves administrators in the server. The biggest problem is that they have banned everybody on the server.

Any help would be greatly appreciated as I am ready to take any legal action against these people. Just for your information, we're a newly opened community and first time opening a server which was originally planned to be there in 2014 but was delayed till 2016.

Currently, we're developing our own gamemode with a scripter who says it will take a month using SQLite database. So for the time being, we're using a premade old gamemode of xMx4Life with our own features in it except for the administration system which is LethaL Admin.

My questions are that how are they able to make themselves administrators? There is no way that they can hack the rcon because we've limited the access of it to certain IPs which includes the owners and some other trusted people.

Is there a hole in the gamemode which is being exploited? What is going on... please help.

If I was you, I'd to these:

Set their admin level to 0, range ban them with rcon & change rcon.
And then add a debug msg under onplayercommandrecieved, like printf("%s used command: %s,name cmdtext);

And you'll know if they are using a command from your script to get admin level or what.

Perhaps it might be a problem/bug/glitch/exploit in your login system that results in them logging/getting admin levels, or even a backdoor command that giving them admin level. When I had my own server I forgot to reset admin level when player disconnects which results on unregistered players get the previous player's level was logged in that ID. Also I would recommend GPCI ban on them, that's the best way.

Guys to be honest, I have no idea about what a GPCI ban is nor how is it done.

Secondly, I've tried to range ban them tons of times and even ban the CIDR ranges to prevent them from using a VPN. However, they are able to unban themselves somehow.

Furthermore, I am not sure what is "onplayercommandrecieved, like printf("%s used command: %s,name cmdtext);"

If anyone could personally help me through teamviewer or skype, it'd be greatly appreciated. Please do not make fun of me since I am quite new in this stuff, especially these types of attacks.
