#1

Alright so recently I've stumbled upon something quite old but I wonder if its still useful, has anyone tried using this recently?

I really want to start using something like this but I wonder would it even work after 3 years. I dont see any commits or anything recent on the github either (latest commit was in 2014)
https://github.com/Lapayo/SAMPHP

Im highly experienced in PHP and I love doing to honestly, way more than the Pawn itself so yeah TLR anyone used it recently and is it even useable?

I don't know how you find PAWN harder, it's like English + common sense + logic.

Well, if it is all hardcoded, then obviously you won't have 0.3.7's features.

I agree that samp is way easier than most of scripting languages etc its just I do php everyday for 5-8hours a day and then I switch to pawn to do some samp scripting and i constantly use wrong syntaxes etc, all in all I preffer PHP since its just something Im used to

PHP is unsuitable for SA:MP in my opinion. It is far more beneficial to use an OOP language such as C# for SA:MP, such as SampSharp (http://sampsharp.timpotze.nl).

I agree that SA:MP sharp is better its just I dont really know too much of C# in the first place.

It all depends on how you write your code in PHP and which version you use. If you work with a lot of data, i prefer more PHP then C#, because it easier to manage them and read them.
