"mysql_init" function indicates that the script is using StrickenKid's mysql plugin. I highly recommend you not to use that outdated plugin but BlueG's latest version (the one you loaded). Of course will take some time to convert it and learn how to use the new syntax (threaded queries) but it's totally worth it.

All you need to do is load the correct mysql plugin I linked you to.

You should consider updating eventually though as there will be no support for such outdated plugins.
