How to fix the mysql.so plugin when it fails to load and gives an error of :

Failed (libmysqlclient_r.so.16: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory)

We are using Centos 06 64 bit.
Please help me to fix it because the hosters are trying to fix it since week and they couldn't.
