GTA & SA:MP not working.
#1

Basically, whenever i try to run vanilla GTA it just wont start up.
That also counts for SA:MP
Incase people are wondering where im talking about, look at the gif here: https://sampforum.blast.hk/showthread.php?tid=603164
simply when i try to join a server, it gives me a black screen for about 1 second and it just goes back again.
Im running on windows 10, game is full vanilla. This issue also happens when im trying to start up singleplayer.
anybody know how to fix this?

Go to My documents > Gta San Andreas User Files and delete gta settings file.
I've seen this problem few times.

You need Marty McFlys Windows 8 Fix Script to run it on windows 10.

I'll PM you it.

It still fixes the startup issue.

No it doesnt.

It does as I've used it, and passed it on to others, and other forums even have it listed as a startup fix for Windows 10.

And if it's not working, then what's your GTA SA doing now...

Rather than saying "It doesn't work" describe what _is_ happening...

My GTA isnt doing anything. whenever i try to load up SA:MP and press connect. it gives me a small black screen and gets back to my desktop. it somehow seems that there isnt a GTA.exe at all starting or some sort.
Maybe my compatible mode is not the correct one?

No... Don't use compatibility mode, you don't need it. (Even if it does "fix" the issue, it's not fixing the actual problem)

Try installing the DirectX 9 runtimes, as the installer does when it installs GTA SA.
