This is very pathetic, when someone pays the specific amount of cash for Administrator status. That cash, you could spend on purchasing something more useful to yourself, parents, friends or your girlfriend/boyfriend. Well, if it is your own earned money, then of course, you can spend it on whatever you want to, but if it is money from your parents, friends or your girlfriend/boyfriend, then sad.

Its a way to make money i mean if a server like lsrp said that i sure alot of persons would donate..
some severs dont do shit like that...Example:Gamerx and its doing fine.. other server that are all about the money suffering.

Some people want to donate for privileges, some do it because they enjoy the server and want it to continue.

Within the past 18 months I donated about $600 USD to Crazybobs and has acknowledged to be a great help from CB himself. It's nice knowing you've helped.

I dont think the problem is so much with donations, but with the fact they're getting admin privileges. If they're paying to be able to basically become all powerful on a server its unfair to other players. Think of it this way, lets say a racist pays $25-$50 to some server, this allows him to become an admin and then just allows the harassment of other players but the owner wont do anything because he's getting paid. Its unethical, and might put other players off of playing samp.

But at the end of the day, its the servers choice if they want to operate this way. It would probably end up with the server not doing so well, after all I wouldnt want to play on a server where you can pay to become an admin.

I get the reason behind donating, I truly do.
But this is wrong. Your ability to administrate a server should not be established by the thickness of your wallet.
