I was having issues in running SA-MP, and ended up having to replace my EXE.

Try this http://forum.sa-mp.com/showpost.php?...32&postcount=4

Revert changes refers to removing ALL compatibility mode changes to attempt to get it working. They cause more trouble than good. They don't fix what the problem is, they simply ignore it.

And look at getting a new EXE for it. One, works better. Apparently it works with one of the latest ENB mod. (I have no idea where I grabbed it from, but I did find it, and ran SAMP)

It's all related. It's the EXE has an issue, hence why some have the issue, and some don't.

I still have this problem, what do I do? I think AMD isn't a good graphics card to play GTA and SAMP, right?
I updated:
  • Windows upgrades
  • Drivers upgrades
  • - I don't have mods
I reinstalled gta and samp a lot of times.

Last time I dealt with an ATi card, it was a problem I got from having the wrong drivers installed.

You've really gotta ID that card, either through something like AIDA32, or visually checking its model.

The chipset, also isn't the model of the card. (For those drivers, not this thread)

I installed it. What do I do, now?
I have an AMD graphics card but the software AIDA32 shows an intel HD graphics card..

The first image is of AIDA32, the second one of my computer characteristics (computer information):

Is it a laptop or a PC?

A laptop but SAMP worked in the past. I think it's a problem of windows 10, about the recent updates of windows 10 because when I installed it, it worked well until about the end of 2015. When I had windows 8, samp worked well, too.
What operative system do you have?

Windows 10. lol.

How did you put windows 10 on there? Via update or a complete clean install with a DVD?

I updated it when there was the icon in the bar.

Yea, that's an upgrade.

What happened in the past is when these upgrades have gone out, the old drivers for the machine have stayed.

You could try uninstalling the application and driver associated with the card, and trying to let windows pick them up again.

Those driver repair programs are a sham except for for that ccleaner crud.

Which application? How can I downgrade these drivers?

It's not downgrading at all.

What I said was about when you do upgrade to Windows 10, it often leaves the OLD drivers around. Then when you are trying to update the drivers so that you can use them, often they say they're up to date, when they aren't.

As I suggested before, find the proper drivers, download them, uninstall the current drivers, restart the PC, install the new drivers, and you should be done.

As to identify your card for which drivers to downoad, get GPU-Z, or HWInfo.

Here you are the screenshots:

But AMD graphics card isn't working? It seems so, what do I do? This may be the problem

Not quite. The graphics card not being used, isn't a big problem as once something starts to use it, it'll start.

In device manager under the Intel Graphics card, has that got any updates waiting?

I tried to restore AMD drivers.
I went to device manager > graphics card > AMD > Property > driver > restore drivers

I would suggest wiping the machine and putting a clean install of win 10 on it with whatever the manufacturer is coining as Win10 compatible. Like, full on format. But that is only if you'd be capable and confident in doing so.

That is "I would" not I am. It would be beneficial though if you planned to, and got ready to.

The Intel update I said about due to someone with the same setup (Intel HD with AMD/nVidia graphics "main") where it was to do with the intel drivers being out of date.

Try update the intel drivers. (That was what fixed the other persons setup)

I think you need to look at reformatting, and cleaning up the system entirely.

Being a laptop you should have restore CDs, but if you've upgraded to Win 10, you can get the DVD image from them, install it, and when the validation process goes through it should pick up the license.

Try disabling the antivirus and windows defender and such. Maybe that is stopping the app from getting an update.
