I downloaded PortChecker to check if I had properly opened my ports and PortChecker said its opened.
Like in this image:



P.S I got this pic from ****** ,I added the right port (7777).

But sacnr monitor's server checker tells the opposite.

Is it supposed to be something else ? :S

Why don't you use canyouseeme.org instead of PornChecker?

Make sure your server is up and running, and that the site above (or PornChecker) says that your port is open and reachable, because now it's not.

Also make sure that you're portforwarding to the correct local IP (the local IP of the computer that is hosting your server).

If you've checked all of this, make sure your router isn't connected to another router with DHCP enabled. If it is, turn one of them into a switch for simplicity.

Your IP address will be the IP address found here: http://whatismyip.com. This will be the IP address that everyone else uses to connect to your server

That software is fucked up. It will say that the ports are closed no matter their actual status. You'll rather quit using it. Your port(s) is(are) most likely open.

But I don't get it.In server properties the address is something else.It just shows my local ip address with the port 7777(198.168.1.101:7777).
But the actually IP address is :
117.196.144.111:7777.
How come?

Btw can someone try joining it?I don't see my server on the Internet list..

Btw is there something I should be doing with the 'announce' and 'query' in server.cfg?
Both of them are set to 1.

That's your local IP. The IP that devices in your house will have to use to connect to your server. Your "actual" IP adress (117.196.144.111) is the IP adress that everyone outside of your house will need to use to connect.
