Hardisk not showing up
#1

I have a Hard Disk from my old Lenovo Desktop (Year: 2006).
So well I've taken the hardisk of my new Acer Predator G3-605 and changed it with the other one of my old Lenovo Desktop. But wen i turned the Acer on nothing appeared on the screen.
Is there any way to appear the old hard disk on my new computer?

Did you installed the hard disk driver to make it work? Maybe it requires it's driver!

Are you sure your cables are connected to the HDD? Or you can have a look at the bios if its there.

You can't just swap a hard drive into a new PC and expect everything to still work. The new laptop has completely different hardware specifications, and hence also needs completely different drivers. I don't think it's surprising that Windows won't boot.

Also: Win XP.

Buy an external enclosure or a SATA docking station. Shouldn't cost too much. It'll allow you to transfer all your files to the new laptop (with the new hard drive).
