I will make this brief. Money is not necessarily the issue and here is my dilemma.

I went through like three different hosting companies, all promising me DDoS protection and not providing it. Server still gets hit and goes down.

Then we got a good deal with one hosting company, and grabbed DDoS protection separately from another company. This worked for a day or two, then we got hit and went down.

I will pay the damn money, it's not a problem, but what hosting companies / plans are servers like LS:RP using that they don't go down?

Did you try to host at OVH or SYS? They have a special anti-DDoS system made for SA-MP and you could try it out.

start with ovh.ie VPS.... their protection is fair enough to handle most ddos attacks
