Can't download windows server.Reason: Spyware
#1

I'm trying to download the sa-mp source files(Windows Server files) from sa-mp.com.
But both ****** chrome and FireFox is blocking it from being downloaded.Reason: Possible spyware/malware.

What am I supposed to do?
I'm trying to download it from the original site.

Use Internet Explorer / Microsoft Edge to download the server package?

Click on the right mouse button, and click on "unblock".
Somehow, the announce.exe keeps coming up with the "trojan(generic)" warning. [Using Emsisoft Internet Security as the AV, scanned with it as well]

My AV keeps blocking it with the "trojan generic" warning.
Most likely it's a false-positive, since I see no reason for kalcor to include a trojan in the sa-mp server package.

What You could do(and if your AV supports it) is to monitor the executable.
For example, using Emsisoft, I can set up application rules.

At least I can be sure that those behaviors will be blocked.
And the SA-MP server keeps working perfectly.

lmao announce lists your server to internet/hosted tab list of course it injects something into samp-server.exe
There was an error like this before dugi explained it hopefully he can explain this one too

You have to go to "all downloads", find the samp.server.exe file or w/e and unblock it from the "all downloads" page. Not sure why Chrome has to be such a pain in the ass about that, but whatever.

The memory-manipulation SA-MP uses to make things work can sometimes trigger a "false positive" w/ antivirus programs. Its been like this since 0.1b. There are many topics in the past 10 years talking about this.

Its safe, but freaks some scanners out. You'll be fine.
