I had the same problem before. Try:
- reinstalling your Samp client. If not fix then try reinstalling your GTA Sa. I am sure it will fix it.

It happened to me in previous versions like 0.3x I think and I'm not really sure how to fix this. I will have to agree with Spiky and say your best bet would reinstall samp and if that doesn't help, reinstall the game.

Single Player Loads instead of SA:MP
YOU ARE NOT SUPPOSED TO SEE THE SINGLE PLAYER OPTIONS (NEW GAME, LOAD GAME, ETC) - SA:MP SHOULD LOAD BY ITSELF AND NOT PRESENT THESE OPTIONS. IF YOU SEE "NEW GAME" SINGLE PLAYER HAS LOADED, NOT SAN ANDREAS MULTIPLAYER.
Single player can load for 2 reasons - you have installed SA:MP to the wrong folder or you have the wrong version of San Andreas. If you have the wrong version it's easy to fix. . Click here to download the downgrade patch.
Sometimes the single-player menu will be shown, but SA:MP will have in fact loaded properly. To fix this you simply need to select an item on the menu then press esc until you're out of it, then SA:MP will proceed to load.

SAMP doesn't support 1.01 version of the game. You can get the 1.0 downgrade patch from here:

And if you're using the Steam version, use this method:

Excellent.

I had this exact same problem just yesterday. Up until now, I had been running GTA:SA/SA:MP on a Steam installed copy. I was crashing every so often despite multiple re-installs, playing with settings (e.g. running as admin, compatibility, etc). To cut to the chase, I purchased a copy of GTA:SA, installed it using the normal/official installer and had the same problem you're describing. Downloading the patch sorted that out

This is the best way I think so.

Sorry for bump.

I reinstalled gta because I had problems, and I need the patch but http://grandtheftauto.filefront.com/...er_Patch;74661 doesn't work for me. I don't know if someone got same problem.
I downloaded third-party patch by SA-MP (http://sa-mp.com/download), but it tell me can't patch the game, because I've got an unkonw version.

Can someone give me a mediafire link?
