Just re-install your gta or samp.

Right Click gta_sa.exe----->Open Properties---->go to compatbiility mode--->and tick run in compatibility mode and from drop down menu select Windows 98/ME version. your game will work.

Do above in samp.exe file too... tell me if it still gives me error!

As the guy above said (not eddiemaddox, don't reinstall just yet), try compatibility.

But, this is the important line here: "The procedure entry point _except_handler4_common could not be located in the dynamic link library msvcrt.dll."

This means you're using the wrong MS VC Runtime Library. Try installing VC Runtime Redistributable 2008.

Make sure your gta-sa.exe is in your GTA San Andreas Folder and especially check if your GTA:SA CD is US/EU(1.0).

Nah, he just needed the runtime redis. He posted me a visitor message about it after his last post here saying that he would try installing and he never returned so I bet it worked.
