Back in about 2006 i was massive fan of samp, but drifted off with the release of GTA IV. Was just wondering on average many people still play this every day? Many new game modes or stability fixes released?

Also, does the game still require an unpatched version, as my new steam release seems to be at 1.1

there was normally 7000 players on when 0.2.2 R3 was the latest version but since 0.2x samp hardly reaches 5000 players

but on weekends its a little bit higher

It will never support any other version as they are not moddable.
