It can be quite difficult to understand at first and you WILL need to put quite a bit of effort into learning MySQL although I believe that the time and effort pays off very well and the skills and knowledge you will be left with will be an advantage to you and your script.

When I was first learning MySQL I found it extremely difficult and it took me hours to put together my first working insert query, although now after using MySQL quite often I find it extremely EASY to use and can easily put together a house/car/door loading system with MySQL together in a few hours or even minutes!

If you are serious about learning MySQL I would recommend checking out some tutorials first and even downloading some game modes that use MySQL to help you out.

You WILL need libmysql.dll and it should come with the MySQL plugin that you download. If you don't use it you will receive errors.
