Hello all, i started scripting on pawn since 3 weeks, and i'm actually doing pretty well.
I'm 19 years old and i'm studying computing/scripting in my first year at university.
Actually they teached us the C Language, and the basics of scripting, which helped me later in pawn.
What i'd like to know is what is pawn?
Is it a different language than Java?
or is it based on java?

Pawn has pretty much the same syntax as C. If you really want to learn it I suggest you to read this : /

Hey Alvin... ur case is quite similar to me... m 15 years old.. just started scripting too...like in january..but the problem is m not doing well lol..and yup we will be taught jaa and mysql from next session i.e next year...

as long as what helped me till now was the compphase's website PDF File... look for the pdf file a comp phase website called 'A Gentle Introduction To Programming' and also the pawn tutorial...its the PDF File as well.. its will be helping u..

And as long as i know pawn is the edited and baby easier version of C... but not java.. it was earlier named small..or something..Read them.. :P
