Someone is trying to find my rcon password. After some bad attempts server crash.

I need remote rcon because I have a ucp that sends commands to server via rcon.

Or just ban IP who tries to attempt wrong password for rcon.

He/she have dynamic IP.

No problem, Atleast it won't flood.

Just one attempt and he/she get's ban. If he/she changes again and try to attenpt again on first attempt his/her IP will be banned.

He/She won't continue when he/she get's tired.

This will leave only one message

(Bad Rcon attempt by xx.xx.xx.xx)
IP xx.xx.xx.xx has been banned.

Atleast it won't flood your logs.

Why not just make your MySQL reflect off of something done to the DB via UCP which reflects in-game instead? Having remote rcon access isn't a smart idea and the best suggestion would be to either do as I said or limit rcon attempts and autoban.

This can still be done as suggested via mySQL easily, the thing with mySQL is you can limit the access easily where the remote access if turned on is allowed to everyone publicly if port 7777 is open.

Having Remote Access opened without being connected to the server isn't very safe and secure but that's your decision I would simply just suggest a 1 attempt login or else ban and that will solve your problem, even if they switch their IPs its still going to take a few minutes to do.
