They don't give support any more i think

If it doesn't give permission to write on filezilla or on remote access set its permissions to "777" this will give it sufficent perms to be writeable.

linux command line: cd /dir/to/configuration.php

chmod 777 configuration

(This may work. If not then id recommend looking at another freeware panel.

Don't put 777 permissions your panel can be hacked then
