This might sound stupid,
Possible human errors:

• You might've #include-ed the right mysql .inc file but forgot to add it inside the Configuration text.

• You might be using the wrong plugin inside the Configuration text.
• You might have downloaded the wrong plugin version, .so instead of .dll or vice-versa.
