Intel >>>>>>>> AMD. Don't deny it because the facts are right there. AMD's fake octacores pale in comparison to most of Intel's i7's. I guess you're jealous because you can't afford a decent CPU?

OT: @Kaiser;

You don't need 2.1ghz RAM, sometimes higher speed RAM can perform lower than lower speed RAM. Get 1600mhz instead.

On CPU cooling. About a 2 weeks ago I bought a Corsair H60 water cooler. It was awful and couldn't handle my CPU full load temps. Upgraded to a Corsair H110 and it runs at 40celcius @ 100%. More expensive but really worth it if you're going to OC. Thermal paste too? Corsair CPU coolers come with pre-applied thermal paste, good stuff too.

1000w PSU, definitely not needed. 750w will do fine unless you want to add SLI GTX 980's or something ridiculous.

I'd recommend an Intel build too btw. Put some more money into it if you have to. No matter what people say Intel > AMD, by far. Both in CPU and GPU performance.

It's not an argument; it's a fact Intel is better. Just have a look at the benchmarks between them.

I've used Intel and AMD, built machines with both, I can honestly say that the difference between AMD and Intel isn't far off for the average user. I'm not saying any of us here are the average user, but it's not a massive difference and honestly, who really cares? If it works, it works. It would be at most be 30 seconds or a minute different rendering times with video and for what, around $100 difference? Who cares.

1000W lol... You can power this pc up with a good 550w PSU for 50Ђ. And 30Ђ hyper 212 preforms better compared to this low end liquid cooler.

EDIT: Where's SSD?

EDIT 2: I don't think you will be able to overclock to 4,5 ghz. I have same motherboard same CPU and asus gtx 760.
I pushed it maximum to 4,1 ghz and it was kind of stable...

Damn son, that's some serious rig.

BTW, there really shouldn't be argument over the CPU. What are you, a video editor?

Fanboyism aside, AMD is pretty good for people with a somewhat tight budget.

Im also wondering. You got your computer service store and stuff, but overestimate the power that dramatically?
Some friend's PC got similar hardware barely scratches 600 watts at absolute maximum load. And even the CPU is drastically overclocked, and he uses double-SLI.
Your config wont ever go beyond 400 watts, maybe 450 when overclocked, and thats easy to say just by adding the TDPs and extrapolating a bit. That "PSUs are most efficient when at 50% load" argument also doesnt apply when going with a 80+ one. You really dont need a 1KW PSU, and you really dont need to worry about the electricity bills that much, so whats behind that misconception?

OT: I'd lower the power supply specs and replace the AMD with Intel i5.
Intel cpu's consume less power, produces less heat and delivers the performence.
