Can't compile with Sublime + UTF-8
#1

I'm looking to switch from pawno text editor to Sublime Text 2, but I'm having trouble with compiling. Whenever I try to compile the original file (encoding: ANSI) everything is fine, but when I convert the encoding to UTF-8 it doesn't compile anymore. I have to convert the file encoding to UTF-8, because the in-game text is written in a foreign language and because of the ANSI encoding the letters don't show up properly in the Sublime Text 2 editor.

For days now I've been trying to solve this problem, but nothing works. I've read that the pawno compiler does support the UTF-8 format, so I don't understand why it doesn't compile. Maybe it's because the file I'm converting is about 30,000 lines of code and this causes problems during conversion? Anyone have any ideas?
