I'm pretty sure this thread will be deleted too.
And that's why:

Im not trolling anyone or causing anger to any of you, I just want to know the reason, and I want Eid threads to be kept just like xmas ones.

if they remove the 'Eid' thread, why didn't they remove the xmas thread?

Probably because its considered spam. Christmas stuff would be the same amount of spam, I guess it just isnt deleted because there are some christian mods here and people still think christmas would somehow be related to christanity.

"Merry this", and "happy that" obviously doesnt add any information at all.

you're complaining about threads from 2009, and the xmas ones aren't just about Christianity, it just mentions it and the focus is screenshots in game

I don't have anything against muslims, just don't post threads about it here, go to a muslim forum or something

I was going to write the same, but gave the search a try and found this recent thread.

This one is obviously just about samp screenshots

I really dont care about neither, especially about those threads here, but IMO you should either delete both, or allow both. But deleting only "non-christian" threads in an international forum like this simply isnt good manner.

Ya'll can try to claim that Christmas on the forum is used for SA-MP pictures or what so ever, but the fact is: Christmas is a Christian event. I'm a Christian, and I'm also supporting anyone here who's trying to keep every human being equal to each other. So, if you're going to remove the threads for Muslim who are celebrating their event, then also remove the Christmas threads.

@Isolated : You just came back far ago in the debate.

I quote the post that are related to yours :

First, I'd like to point something out regarding the 'no religion' rule everyone pulls out once in a while. Apparently in this case, there's a tendency to stop reading mid-sentence. If we look at this rule as a whole you'll see a different interpretation:

It doesn't say religious threads ARE NOT allowed, it says that you may not post religious threads aiming at causing an argument. A thread like 'Happy Eid Mubarak to all Muslims' doesn't aim for an argument in my opinion and to be honest I cannot see why someone would even think that.

Second, the Christian religion is obviously in favour on this forum. How do you explain all those 'Merry christmas'/'Happy easter' threads when at the same time, all those Eid Mubarak and other Muslim holiday-threads are getting deleted? Muslims are people too, they have holidays and parties like us. Why do we Christians have the freedom to create threads for this while Muslims haven't?

A humble suggestion to the moderator team here: please either allow all religious groups to post their threads, or allow none at all.

EDIT:

The Eid threads also merely mentions a Muslim holiday, it hasn't anything to do with the religion as a whole. That last remark makes me think the mod team just deletes those threads as some sort of precaution, because you THINK it will eventually become a shit storm. If that path is indeed followed it'd be a shame for all respectful people on here that just want to wish each other a happy holiday. Those that actually CAUSE the shit storm in those threads should be punished, not the Muslim part of this community as a whole.
