Computer Unresponsive?
#1

-

When I am playing a alternative video game. Including San Andrea's, there has been unresponsive communications between the mouse, keyboard, and the computer itself. It sounds confusing but let me put it into somewhat more depth.

I'd push 'W"
- The mouse freezes and everything "keyboard/mouse" for about five seconds then inserts the key "W".
- Then the mouse would unfreeze and they keyboard would be responsive.

Mouse concept
- I'd be moving on a video game "drifting forward" (FPS: Around 100+)
- The mouse would freeze up and then the keyboard would follow suit.

Sometimes they both lag completely and I end up dying depending on what I am doing.

NOTE: This only occurs when I am playing video games. These video games don't take up that much RAM. My PC has 8g's of RAM and 1g of Graphics.

Any further information needed let me know. Ah,

Would try with a wired keyboard/mouse combo for starters. However, intermittent freezes may also be caused by faulty RAM, hard drive or power supply.

When we first got this new computer we weren't having any issues. Only when the days started going by. We haven't over-clocked it or added any new hardware into it. So? The internals are dying out is a possible suspect? Like I mentioned, it works fine when I am not playing games. Need any more physical information regarding the computer or mouse or this pretty much my answer?

Might be the USB ports.

Do you have some sort of wireless thing (except mouse and keyboard) nearby your wireless mouse and keyboard? Like a router, they cause signal interference, try closing them and then try to use your mouse and keyboard.

This helped but on a 5/10 ratio. For now it's a temp fix.

I'm assuming you're having your receiver at the back USB ports. Use the receiver at front USB ports or with some USB hub.

Seems like your computer can't handle the game.
maybe you don't have enough memory to play such games?
Try to upload some drivers if you need to,
or buy some additional memory, that may can do the trick here.

Good luck, i hope your computer will work fine soon.

Wowha my bad, i must have over read that part!
In that case, it's pretty weird.
Maybe you need a new keyboard and mouse instead?

Just like DaDenz said try to buy new keyboard and mouse, but check first Usb Port and try to lower the game resolution if the mouse works properly and the keyboard its your call if you stay in this resolution or change it back to the old one.

Try it on a different port?... A different computer?..

if it still does it on a different PC it's the keyboard/mouse that's defect.

A. The port is completely fine.

B. I moved the receiver slightly underneath the router and it started working better.

C. Changing the resolution? I've been playing on the same rez for it. But, I noticed something someone pointed out. This issue has happened before on a different computer but same model of Logitech (keyboard/mouse). Different product and PC same issue previous. The problem comes and goes..
