I am on Windows 8.1 64bit and I just reinstalled my GTA SA with no mods, now i also installed SAMP and tried to connect to a server, but when i clicked on the green play button, it crashed. Here is the log

I have already visited Other threads like > https://sampforum.blast.hk/showthread.php?tid=339691 Did what they said, like delete gta_set but mine is still not working, i also tried changing my compatibility to windows XP, It was working just before i reinstalled my gtasa

Just clean all the TEMP files your cookies everthing clean up C Drive remove Cleo if no then install Silent's ASI Loader.

Have you applied the downgrader patch? Also, if there's anything in %LOCALAPPDATA%\VirtualStore (copy paste in explorer window) pertaining to Rockstar Games or GTA SA then delete that, too.

I know that Windows 7/8/8.1 has administrative issues when it comes to both gta_sa.exe and samp.exe, what I do is run them as an administrator or just change name of your GTA San Andreas directory to something else.

i thin win 7 dosen't have issue with the samp only win 8 to 8.1, but some people have issue in win 7.
