SA:MP Client Favorites Tab (Bug?)
#1

Hi,

When I start up the SA:MP client and I add a server to my favorites and then exit the client or switch to another tab, my favorites get cleaned somehow.

1. I added a random server to my favorites.
2. I switched to another tab.
3. I switched back to my favorites. You'll notice the server I've added is gone.
4. I removed the tags. You won't notice any difference (:7777 is default, of course).

How can I fix this?

Try running the client as an Admin. It might be a write permission problem because the client saves your favourites in a file named "USERDATA.DAT". If it fails to write, the "USERDATA.DAT" file will be empty, thus no server(s) to add.
You could start off by checking to see if your "USERDATA.DAT"(Location: Documents\GTA San Andreas User Files\SAMP) file is empty.

Could you try checking to see if the "USERDATA.DAT" file is empty?

It's empty.

Clear the mode search box.

Then there might be a write permission problem. Right click on your "USERDATA.DAT" file and see if you have the privileges to edit it in the security tab.

I had the same problem as you, i'll tell you step by step

1. Go to Documents, and click on your folder named "GTA SAN ANDREAS USER FILES"
2.once you have clicked it, click on "SAMP"
3.You see a file named "USERDATATA.DAT". delete that and it should be fixed :=)
