Hi,
I'm through making my own server HUD, but I am unable to continue as I can't figure out a way to hide the original HUD. I thought of covering it with the textdraws that I'll use, but that'd be noobish.

Well it may be noobish but thats only way to hide it. No other way you can make it possible yet..
During spectating (TogglePlayerSpectating) it hides as well but thats not what you need.

What if someone is using a custom HUD mod? The custom hud would go over the textdraw dimensions.

no it's impossible, cause a custom hud must be exactly the same size like the an original one
