3 .dll files are missing, can't find it on the internet
#1

Hey, i have Windows 8.1 x64 on my PC.
Many programs don't work, so i scanned the .exe files of all non-working programs with Dependency Walker.
Almost all the missing .dll files are placed now, except 3.
These are:
  • API-MS-WIN-CORE-SHUTDOWN-L1-1-1.DLL
  • EXT-MS-WIN-MF-PAL-L1-1-0.DLL
  • EXT-MS-WIN-NTUSER-UICONTEXT-EXT-L1-1-0.DLL
How can i find this files?

Edit: No, it's not a fix or anything. It's just information about that .dll.

According to this thread this seems to be a win 8.1 problem and cant be fixed. Even Microsoft cant give you a solution for this.

Another good reason to stick with win 7, at least until they fixed all these ridiculous bugs.

Have you cared to update your PC with the latest update issued on April 8th ?

I am running 8.1 x64 on my Dell notebook and have never experienced this issue before. I always keep it updated and install every system update Microsoft rolls.

I have had 8.1 since release and it has been nothing but great to me. Increased performance and a better UI. Whats there not to love?

That site is just a collection of .DLL files, and they could be anything. You could either download the wrong .DLL version and screw shit up, or you could harbor a virus. After all, I'm not sure that site is secure anyway...

A proper solution: download and install the library that provides these .DLL files.
