Hello i need some help, ive got my mysql database running off my vps, and my sever off my game/cpannel but hwen the server is running im getting connection failed to database "databasename", can someone please help me out and reply with a fix or something to help me solve this problem all the db names, usernames, passwords, ips are correct.

It's likely the VPS is blocking outside connections to the MySQL database, have you tried internal/external connections to debug?
