When I try to launch sa-mp, the launcher/server browser starts, closes itself instantly, and starts SA. It sits there trying to connect to nothing forever. I'm on Windows 8.1, 64bit. The game's downgraded, runs perfectly fine with or without mods otherwise, but SA-MP just skips by without letting me pick a server.. Anyone know what I can do about this?

Welp. Not sure what I did, but now I get to pick a server at least. Though the game crashes on the loading screen at about 80% now.

Aaand the sticky'd fix for win7/8 took care of it...

reinstall the game and reinstall your samp and delete gta sa folder in DOcuments ...
and then refresh for a while and start,,,it works!
