Hi,
I am using windows 8 and, i scripted my server, unfortunetly i bought linux vps of 1 year. now what should i do, can i use virtual box for scripting on linux, please some one reply

you can use your gamemode on inux just find the linux equivalent of your plugins

There's no such thing as a "Windows SA:MP script". You can either run the SA:MP server on a Linux system (like most people), or a Windows system. The .amx that compiling the PAWN file creates is compatible with both operating systems.

The only difference is that you need to get Linux plugins for your script, rather than the Windows plugins. Oh and, adding plugins in the server.cfg require you to put .so at the end of each one.

Yes you can host a server on a linux vps, depending on what one you get if you are a massive community 90+ players, its better to get a dedicated host!.
