Portforwarding Driving Me Up The Wall... *REP
#1

Okaaaay. So... this isn't the first time I've had trouble portforwarding.... And I'm sure many of you are tired of answering this question, though my brain will soon explode.

Situation :
Trying to portforward 7777 doesn't work. Simple. Endof.
After changing my local IP to a static local IP,
ensuring that all my router settings are correct and use the static local IP,
turning off the router firewall, windows firewall AND antivirus,
resetting the router to factory and adding the 7777 port AGAIN...

I'm stuck.

Router :
ZyXEL AMG1202-T10A

OKAY ----

After some more extensive and tiring research, I've been able to open the port correctly...

HOWEVER....
Now PFPortChecker says it's UNABLE to PING my router but my PORT is OPEN... so therefore, no server... right? At least, that's what canyouseeme.org says...

Have you tried http://www.canyouseeme.org I ensure the port is seeable from the outside world?

Go to http://portforward.com/ and then put your Modem Name and Router etc.. they would show how to port forward.

There are other links like

https://sampforum.blast.hk/showthread.php?tid=31606
https://sampwiki.blast.hk/wiki/Port_Forwarding
http://portforward.com/english/route...-MP_Server.htm

The third link may be really helpful for you!

Try checking your port and if all these doesn't work post your server.log

Make sure you're port-forwarding the UDP port! Also, make sure you configure your firewall, and such...

I'm using the PFPortChecker (From http://portforward.com/)... Neither one seems to identify the port.

I've tried each of these steps already, unless I'm mistaken :l

I'm actually unable to portforward something specifically as a UDP port... (Correct me if I'm wrong, please.)

To portforward the portforward site says to press User Define, from there I'm unable to select UDP or TCP (I used to be able to port forward easily on my old router)..

If Port forwarding TCP/UDP doesnt work try it individually like TCP first then again for UDP(Ignore me if I'm wrong)
