SA:MP Server & Runtime Libraries
#1

Yes, I have searched and found numerous threads of my problem, downloading two different runtime libraries. Nothing worked.
Ok, so here's the problem, I bought a dedicated server, running Windows Server 2008 R2 64-bit (Don't say this is my problem just cause you're a linux fanboy), my script requires streamer, sscanf, dns, and crashdetect plugins.

When I started up the samp-server.exe as administrator, I get these following errors.

Quote:

1. The program can't start because MSVCP100.dll is missing from your computer. Try reinstalling the program to fix this problem.

2. The program can't start because MSVCR100.dll is missing from your computer. Try reinstalling the program to fix this problem.

3. The program can't start because MSVCP100.dll is missing from your computer. Try reinstalling the program to fix this problem.

Those are the three errors I get in order, yes 1 and 3 are the same, but that's what I get.

I have tried installing the runtime libraries as stated before, please any help would be greatly appreciated. I do realize this is a common problem and there are tons of these but I have also searched before making this and they didn't seem to help me.

This is my server log, as you can see the plugins fail to load because of the runtime libraries!

You need to install the C++ redistributable package which includes those libraries.

32bit: http://www.microsoft.com/download/en...s.aspx?id=5555

64bit: http://www.microsoft.com/download/en....aspx?id=14632

Download the one that corrosponds with your Operating System architecture.
try This

If you get this error, DO NOT just download the dll from a random website (click here for why). This is part of the "Microsoft Visual Studio Redistributable Package". This is required for many programs, but they often come with it. Download it here:

As I stated, I've already tried the runtime libraries. Anyhow, tried that x64 download, still nothing.

Edit Tuu: With a little patient and deep research, I have found my problem, even though the system is 64 bit, it still requires the 32 bit versions as well, so that fixed my problem. To anyone else having this problem, this is your thread!

Thread can be locked and archived, thanks SA:MP!
