Hello buddies,

I did all the steps that appeared on the wiki for a linux, I have a 64 bit linux vps and I had to install ubuntu etc to make the samp server work and it worked, and ran (checked server.log) successfully and the vehicle models appeared and everything (I don't use plugins since its grandlarency) but when I typed the ip of my machine the server wasnt online but its ON. in addition, the announce is 1 and lanmode is 0 of course.

any help?

Is the process running on your server? was it started correctly?

Yes, according to logs it did it even loaded the vehicles of grandlarency, but it doesn't appear that it's online for me and anybody else.

Same thing happens to mine and I'm running centos 5. Sometimes it will show up and sometimes it won't but even if it's not showing up on the client you can still connect fine. I don't really know the answer.. I tried opening and closing and opening and closing the server and didn't seem to help so I just left it on and came back later and it showed up on the samp server lists. Odd I know. But sorry I can't really give you an answer at this point. I'll be glad to know what causes this though! :_)

Have you port-forwarded? Can you connect to your local IP?

i can connect to my server and even other players whom i give the ip but they can't who don't know my ip because the server is not in internet list of samp

It looks like you've not understood the situation here,

I've got a linux 64 bit VPS, (its portforwarded perhaps) I just did all the instructions in the samp wiki for a linux server and it worked (ran successfully) and it lists in the Terminal that a server started with the port 7777 and when I check the server log in the FTP it lists that the script loaded fine and even it loaded the vehicle models, the problem when I hit the client and put the ip of the VPS the server doesnt appear that its online (it have not shut down its not listed in the server.log) any idea why this happens?
