I've thought to make something where we can chat from ucp to the server. It'll display the chat people do over there. I want to make this in MySQL but no idea how to start. Any kind of ideas which gets me started will be helpful.

Please dont post any link of filterscripts which provide this feature. I want to make my own.

I guess you could try using "insert into" query and add it to a DB field on the text entry (website) then run a timer ever X seconds to run the "select from" query. Then the usual SendClientMessageToAll.
