I'm just looking to get peoples of County Roleplays? I will be opening one tomorrow therefore I'd like input on the concept.

Well, County RP's are rare nowadays, therefore I would be more than interested to try a server with such settings.

Well sure people would be interested if it's a right county RP, and not ones where people get rich and are like "Hey, I just bought an infernus, let me park it at my farm". Because in real County, most of the people who actually have money would use it for a farm and use the money for equipment.

So yeah, as long as you got a right limit for something that doesn't fit county, it's all good.

I always try every county server out there, and only remain active on those which I feel are with a true county spirit.
I know one server, where Sheriff's patrol with Turismos . But nevertheless, give it a try - Maybe you'll be lucky!

Make sure everything is regulated correctly. So all the players are immersed. No turismos or high speed sports vehicles /please/ - Make sure the environment is engaging and that there's something to do as soon as the player steps foot on your server - That is pretty much all you need.

I see no problem at all with a county RP server, and frankly I've no problem taking part in one. However, your server requires the "county" environment and atmosphere to fulfill it's setting (e.g. farming and harvesting, not sports cars and flashy lights everywhere).

all portuguese roleplay servers are country roleplay we all like that but we have a lot of fast cars and drug/weapon dealers so that blow up all the country thing but that is my opinion

As he said, make sure all vehicles are fit for the person's role - Sherrifs Drive Police Rangers, Farmers are only allowed to buy cars up to a decent roleplaying standard. As mentioned above, no "I bought an Infernus and parked it on my farm" stuff.

Some people say that it's non-roleplay to have infernos and turismos on a county role-play server and I ask them now: Why? Sure it is not everyday you see rich-people-vehicles on a farm BUT I don't think it should be impossible! Just higher the prices of the luxury vehicles to a REALISTIC price, like every damn server should but they put an infernus on 100k when you gain 1k from one round of work which took you 10 minutes - this is also by the way why people leave servers, it's too easy once you have everything!

I have seen lots of Country RP and they are all fails. It would be nice to see RP like this and i would enjoy playing on it.

Yeah, but take into consideration that richest people on the server should be farmers which have quite an amount of products that they are selling. And now, think.. Would the farmers buy a rich ass car or would rather buy some expensive farming equipement that makes their job and earnings A LOT easier?

Doing the same thing gets bored often. So I suggest not to add farming, add boating enterprises etc.

Well that's up to the player himself to decide. If I became rich on something I would probably develope it into something better indeed, something that my future kids would benefit more off than I did from the beginning, but not everyone thinks like that. And this is when the scripters job comes in, how realistic is the script actually made? Is there economy etc. But yeah I agree, but if the economy is nice and you can actually somehow make your job "easier" and earn even more money, then at some point the farmer will have enough with money to buy an infernus.

It has to be /realistic/ - but it can't feel like a dead end. There always has to be progress. Development.

To the person who said the police could only use police rangers, that makes no sense. In the US county areas (I live in one) you see squad cars like Dodge Charges and Crown Victorias as a standard police vehicle, and the occasional Dodge truck. Keep things regulated. Instead of offering infernuses and such for donator vehicles, offer journeys with enterable interiors and such.

About the journeys ya it would be great idea, it will make players more interesed in the server and finding out whats in that town.

I agree with you, it should be like ranger for supervisor, or maybe off road unit, and then the normal patrol vehicles such as LVPD RPly as Dodge Chargers.

It doesn't work. RC:RP is a prime example, literally everyone is driving an infernus they got through donating and they're all RPing italian mobsters.
