When i was going to buy VPS i see Linux . It shows OS so many version etc.Which i need to select for Hosting SAMP ?

You can host server on Windows and Linux, its upto you. Linux servers are cheap than Windows.

So basically windows costs more because you need to buy a license for it.
Linux is free so you don't need to pay extra.
Linux is better, as it uses less resources.
It's more stable.

Buying a windows license will allow you to use Windows on a VPS. It will not protect you from dos attacks.
If you do use windows you can use RDP to manage the files and edit them.

If you're using Linux, use FTP to transfer your files.

I see KINGJ & Some other new Host using Windows. They select Windows because its more secure?
