About Volt-Host

Hi.

I want to rent server from volt host, because ALL HUNGARIAN HOST IS PIECE OF SHIT. Laggs, crashes, FTP not working, sql connection loses, etc..
I saw volt host is very popular, this is not cheap, but I hope there will be everything fine.

Who have server in volt host, please post your opinion here about this host.

I found this http://volt-host.com/samp-12c/

KingJ, Latency Host, Volt Host etc all use the same servers in France which are OVH, so you're likely to get same performance with whichever host you choose.

I recommend a VPS it would be much more cheaper as you can get one for like $4 or less, you can host many samp servers with unlimited slots.

This host sux...it gets DDOSED twice a week....In my opinion...you can use this: www.razor99.com
At least...host is better than VOLT-Host

2 months ago i have buyed dedicated server from Volt-Host and i don't have any problem with it. Before that i have changed all locations in Europe on their host because they had a lot of downtimes at each location and they still have it, see here: http://uptime.volt-host.com

If you want to buy from Volt-Host just ask them by support ticket for dedicated server in Amsterdam and you will bee satisfied, also if you've never used dedi or vps you do not have to worry about control panel and other things, they will attach their control panel, you just need to put your scripts and that's all.

Well for me personally, I've had 2 servers in my life. Both are aviation. The first one started at Volt Host because a friend of mine had Volt and it was the cheapest. Then I relocated to JJ Servers because Volt had major LAG at the time and kept on getting DDOSED. I had no problems with JJ Servers at that time. But then I gave my old server to a friend. And now I have another server. I started at JJ Servers yet again because I had a good time last time. But turns out, they don't allow the upload of certain files. Like .dll files! But Volt allows you to upload .dll files! Also, the control panel on JJ Servers Sucks bad! It's not easy to use at all. So complicated. Now Volt's Control Panel is nice, Easy to use, and not complicated at all! And Volt is cheap as well! Plus they offer Free Web Hosting and you don't have to open up a ticket to set up a database! You can set up a database on your own via their control panel! It's very easy and so simple! Plus, another friend of mine who now runs my old server on JJ, their server is not showing up on the samp list while mine is. Also, his server is not showing up on SACNR Moniter either. But mine is! Bottom line, go with Volt in my personal opinion. Good luck!

Just get a VPS, one that's DDoS protected and decent specs.

I used VoltHost once in the past, on a trial server for 7 days, and it was really good.. everything was provided, nice and fast. But then I went to Colorhost because VoltHost didn't support OneBip .

Volt-Host, KingJ etc all use the same OVH servers so what ever is cheapest is the best option.

I have been using volt-host for quite a few servers now and before, i have had a few problems but not many, i use filezilla to directly upload my files to volt-host, u should try it out, it goes down sometimes but very few times, i think you should try it out and if you dont like it you can always change... or you can try all the other hosts that can be really good.
+rep me if i helped you in anyway, thank you

Dedicated is mutch better than VPS, and on Volt-Host you can have dedicated server for $20 per month. Last month i have betven 120 and 180 players, there are no lag and downtimes.

Dedicated is to much for samp server only..
VPS is good
