Hey, thanks for looking at my post, it's appreciated tons. A few days ago I had gotten into SAMP and decided to play on Universal Roleplay, they changed hosts and got a new IP - I can no longer join that server. It keeps saying the IP and "Retrieving Info.." as you can probably tell I'm getting pretty irritated.
I have contacted the server owner and I am not banned, I have tried various other methods as well - Restarting my router, removing it from my favourites list restarting SAMP and adding it again, removing Hamachi, reinstalling SAMP (4 times), and some other stuff. None of it has worked.
My boyfriend has told me the problem is that numerical IPs do not work in SAMP on his computer and never have.
If you know of any solutions, please respond. I would like to go back to playing the server I like.
Thanks.

hmmm
Unplug your router for 5 minutes and replug it and make sure SA-MP is not blocked by any firewalls or such also do a trace out for the server

danieltravel - I have a static IP.
Ha$h_Sexyboy - Ive tried that. My SAMP is allowed through my firewall. And to clarify, most servers work. Its just servers with numerical IPs used to access, as opposed to addresses more like URLs.

[*]Open your firewall[*]Change IP to PUBLIC[*]Open your ports from "NAT".
If you already opened your firewall and you are sure that firewall is not blocking your IP then try removing it from the Exception list and add it again.

If they are using the same hostname (e.g. server.somedomain.com) then the DNS change hasn't propagated to your machine yet. This takes 72 hours at most. To force propagation, you can flush the DNS cache.
Start -> cmd -> ipconfig /flushdns

@Ha$h_Sexyboy: How do you do a trace out? I will try to figure out the VPN, lol.
@DaniceMcHarley: As stated in my original post, all servers with numerical IPs do not run. It's not just that one server. However, servers with address like IPs run perfectly.

@xTEmaratii - I'm not that smart with computers, lol.. I can't seem to figure that out quite that well, could you possibly pm me and I can send you a screen of my firewall options on my computer?
