Has anyone seen the latest BB10 devices like the Q10 and Z10? Blackberry has now taken a turn in an even better direction, in addition to the original social networking device with good compatibility with PCs and high security, the completely new and reworked OS is also like apple/android. A lot more fluid with a social hub, more powerful, and now a huge new appworld for them to compete. Unfortunately US media is always slandering BB a lot and a lot of people are also unaware of OS10, but even big apple/android fans who have tried it out thought the new BB can do everything an iPhone can do and more, for less money as well. Having used the Blackberry Z10 I would strongly disagree... Yes the App Store for it is SLIGHTLY more open to things it still isn't enough to compete with Apple/Android; however maybe in a few years and developers get working hard with making Apps DECENT Apps it might be more considerable.

With the Blackberry Z10 you are able to get quite a few good apps, however the iPhone and Andorid phones allow you to still get alot more good apps; not a fan boy of either as I hate most Apps I download (The only apps I like are GTA Apps, FB, and Snapchat).

Now I agree with you back when all my friends had BB it was a great thing, top up Ј5 and the odd pence and chat endlessly; if you could still do that fine I dont care have fun. My point however by this sentance is that most of my friends have gotten rid of their blackberrys, some use them as an extra phone for BBM and only for BBM still. However when BB was at its peak I had 300 BBM contacts, about 5 months ago I started using my BB again as an extra phone just for the BBM ability, however only 50 - 60 of my friends still used it and those weren;t the people I wanted to talk to they were more Aquentances.

These days I use iMessage, this is because most of my friends have an Apple phone therefore I do aswell; it makes it easy to contact and talk to people. Yes before you say it uses your Internet up but it doesn;t use that much consdiering its FREE when your in a WiFi hotspot. I have noticed however with the iMessage it doesnt lag when your chat get to about 2000 messages which the blackberrys had 3 of them always used to do to me :@.

Yeah at the moment the app store is no way as big as apple/android. But the Q10 and Z10 are completely re-worked phones compared to the bolds/curves. And as someone who mainly uses their phone for social networking and browsing/forum posting I love the BB over any touchscreen phone.

Thats great, but you need to have friends who move back to BB; as I'm sure your likely in the same situtation where everyones abandoned BB.

BBM is coming to apple/android and I am sure there's a messenger for all of them already. And then there's texting still. I just like the phone for browsing/forums though.

Fair enough but I cant see the problem of browsing and using forums on other phones; It's not any easier or harder infact.

An iPhone has a qweky keyboard.. if you mean the actual thing with the little buttons pressing them is an actual bitch!
