Hello everybody,

Recently I saved up Ј230 in my bank account. In 2 days I had Ј120 left. I've checked my banks account statments and seen that over 2 months I spent Ј420 and the worst, I have nothing left of it. I'm going KFC right now and next week, and probably will spend the rest. Hard to keep money on.

I been thinking that saving up money, will make me rich even if it's a Ј50 save a week. Checked up for some ****** tips and what I got is, I cannot follow them easy steps for saving, I just end up spending it out on food.

Have anyone of you thought of anything good to save up money and in some years get amazed on how rich you became? It might take years but there will be a result. Any tips for saving up money? Seems hard!

It depends on loads of circumstances but we all end up buying things we don't need! Have you ever thought of buying something you need and not something you want? I'm bored up and want to get a good game for xbox to play with my gf, money again, ouufff!

I usually count my money, next thing I know I'm 100$~ down. One that that interests me is in investing on something, seems like a profitable business to me.

PS:
Going to KFC is not exactly helping you save money, here in The Netherlands it is expensive as fuck.(With the cheapest food order being €6,75)
Also, just don't buy stuff, just because something is cheap, doesn't mean you need it. Also, if something is on sale; You don't need it.

Make shopping lists of what you need, it helps because grocery stores like to trick you into impulsive buying.

Rich... you can't become rich by saving money. at least not if you're young, with normal job, become rich needs some success, not saving penny after penny. Here's my advice though, just enjoy your money.

What's the point of being rich? You'll have everything you want, thus you'll get bored of life.

I suggest cooking at home considering you're spending money on food. That's a kick-ass method to be saving money.

By being rich, you have to establish something that would make you rich. You cannot be 'rich' unless you're good at making something very popular and has a lot of demands. Apart of what you mean by 'rich,' you can save a lot of money by just cooking at home.

I cook at home. Saving money was never hard at all. If you know you're going to spend a lot when you go out with friends or anything, don't take your credit card or just don't hold too much money. Take the exact amount you need for everything and add in a few more dollars to stay safe.

Excuse me? I'm pretty sure I've got lots of money for my age, simply because having a decent part time job without unncessarily spending shit. I'm pretty sure I've got a lot more of money than the average people from my age.

It's not making me rich, however it's giving me an advance when I'm going to live by myself / with my girlfriend.
