Vehicle lights bug (Kinda related to ManualVehicleEngineAndLights)
#1

Make sure you don't have ManualVehicleEngineAndLights enabled
Make sure the world time is set to a day hour (8 - 20) (24hour clock)

Step 1:

turn on your vehicle lights while in the vehicle ( you don't see any lights )

Step 2:

exit the vehicle ( the lights are turned on )

-----------

So Basically, if ManualVehicleEngineAndLights isn't enabled, the vehicle lights don't show unless the world time is night
I waited, at the 21st hour, the lights turned on

if ManualVehicleEngineAndLights was turned on, then the lights would show at any world time

Note: I used 'SetWorldTime' with this, I don't know if it had any effect.

Thats actually how it's meant to be I believe, lights in gtasa normally turn on at night, how is that a bug?
If you don't use "ManualVehicleEngineAndLights" then they'll turn on automatically at 21:00 and off at 7:00 or something yeah?, off of a day.. on of a night, thats how it is in singleplayer.

Also if ManualVehicleEngineAndLights isn't enabled, then you won't be able to manually turn them on anyway.. you simply don't have control over them from my understanding.

Yes you can turn them on, try it ...

I guess ManualVehicleEngineAndLights breaks the SP and lets you use lights in the day.. ok.

But the problem you guys aren't listening to is

When the lights are on

If the vehicle has a driver, the lights are off
If the vehicle has no driver, the lights are on

Do you understand NOW?

I don't seem to have that issue as you can see.. I followed the instructions from your first post, starting with world time at 12:00.. it's terrible quality :P

as you can see, your lights never turned on, even though you made it night.

when you went in the car i really can't see if they turned on when you did /lights

and thats kinda stupid, you turned lights on and when you got out its off? thats the total opposite of this issue.

My issue is when you turn the lights on "turn on your vehicle lights while in the vehicle ( you don't see any lights )"

then when you "exit the vehicle ( the lights are turned on )"

Read it over..

I did.. these tests were done with ManualVehicleEngineAndLights commented out.. or disabled.

how can it be different?.. why don't you record a video of the issue and post it?

To the person who disapproved my last post, your the 'fucking idiot.'

Read my topic again, i'll try to be simpler

/lightson

*no lights turned on*

/exitvehicle

*lights turned on*

/reentervehicle

*lights turned off*

Do you understand now?

The lights are on but they're only showing when the vehicle has NO driver
