well, once a long long time ago I port forwarded and it worked fine. then after a while I decided to disable port forward. now I try to port forward again, but non of my friends can join my server.. what can be wrong?

I had a similar problem, except for me, I didn't disable the ports.. I turned my computer off and turned it on again the next morning and my server wouldn't go up...
