I remember learning about this concept a while ago but I have since forgotten. Let's say my server's IP is 127.0.0.1. How could I create a redirect so that players could type samp.example.com and be sent to that IP?

I don't remember what this is called either but I know it has something to do with DNS.

You need to set either a CNAME or A record to point to an IP address.

Most likely the control panel of where you host your domain. Like a webhosting company. If they are the registrar, they likely provide you with a DNS control panel as well. If not, ask them.
