Dies any one know a forum that is great and free or very cheap

I've used phpBB and SMF in the past.

That's not cheap either, in my view.

There isn't going to be any forum of quality (excluding free ones such as myBB) is going to be under $100.

Perhaps the OP should tell us how much he is willing to pay?
