When i try connect to localhost/phpmyadmin/ i get this

Translate on the pic = connection failed Firefox cannot establish a connection to the server at localhost.

The place may be temporarily down or busy. Please try again
moment.
If you can not open any page at all, check your computer
network connection.
If your computer or network protected by a firewall or proxy, make sure
that Firefox is permitted to access the Web.

Do you have Skype open? Apache & Skype both run on port 80.

You need to start Apache if you want to start MySQL. Overall, you have to start Apache and MySQL, and click on the admin on MySQL in the control panel

Building of this person's response, you can check to see all the programs that are running on port 80 via the resource monitor. This is opened via the task manager in the performance tab. In the resource monitor window in the tab network on the bottom you will find a category that say "Listening Ports". Now if you sort that by port, you can easily see what processes are current running on that port.
