Editing a single object (removing a guard booth door)
#1

Hi everyone,

This is my first post here and since I'm not very adequate at SAMP/MTA mapping/scripting, I was wondering whether anybody could point me in the right direction in regards to removing a door from a guard booth to make it possible to enter it without having to set an enter/exit point with an int. This would simply make it a booth with a moving door or without one so you could get in it and talk to people through the window.

Is there a way at all?

Thanks,

If you're talking about ones found at Las Venturas Airport for example, then no it is not possible, unless you replace the existing booth with another that supports a doorway or entrance of some sort. Other than that, there are plenty of 'automatic' or 'moving door' tutorials found around SA-MP forums and external communities, so just use the search button.

Implying I didn't ****** before coming to ask here. Creating moving objects isn't the issue, it's whether I can even replace or rebuild that ONE booth to implement a moving door, this one, to be precise:

No you can't edit the models. But you can use the wall objects to build your own guard booth.

I'll give it a shot, then, thanks. I take it all the objects that are in that booth, should be available for me to use?

Well, there's thousands of interior objects in San Andreas, so even if you can't find the specific object, you can find something very similar for sure.

I phrased my post badly, I actually meant the exterior, with the glass walls and the hole in it, et cetera. The interior won't be any sort of problem.

Oh. Well, there is a glass wall object. You just have to position it right so there's gonna be a hole. And there's couple of wall objects you can use.
